I am so in love with the venue that Abby and Bob chose for their wedding day- The Condor’s Nest Ranch near Pala Casino. Condor’s Nest is filled with the sounds of farm animals and has that barnyard feel to it. It was definitely a drive coming from Encinitas, but so well worth it!
The atmosphere the day of the wedding was so laid back. As I arrived the wedding party was lounging by the pool without a worry in the world. I only wish my own wedding day was that stress-free. It was actually quite refreshing weather for November too!
I was really excited to see the pictures because I knew they were going to turn out awesome. The photos taken by Bauman Photographers were great (as you can see in the photos below), who I happened to go to high school and elementary school with!

I had so much fun setting up and preparing for this wedding! The venue was so gorgeous and the bride and groom were as sweet as can be! The color scheme for this wedding was mainly ivory with a touch of blush, which made for a very romantic setting. We also added tons of votive candles throughout the tented reception area to help bring about a very romantic glow. We built a custom Chuppah for this couple which was decorated with flowers, fabric and curly willow branches for their ‘Traditional Jewish Wedding Ceremony’.
I always try to create a concept for each client to help them visualize the look of their big day. The first two pictures show my concepts for this wedding. The rest of the images are just a few pictures that I snapped before the ceremony and reception started.

I was so excited to be asked provide wedding flowers for Lisa and Hugo. Lisa and I went to high school together at Point Loma High School and got to know each other in “yearbook” class. I hadn’t seen her in about 10 years so it was a great treat to be a part of her wedding day! I loved every aspect of her wedding from the Mariachi band to the ‘Day of the Dead’ cake topper…..very unique and special!
